Synchronicity

Synchronicity

When I first arrived at Hope Lodge here in Boston to begin salvage radiation I had no idea, not a clue of where I was headed. I felt like a stranger in a strange land who somehow landed on a far away planet.

Now five weeks into it, I begin to understand the synchronicity . I have met some amazing people here on this journey of ours, people that otherwise I would never have had the opportunity to meet. You know that experience of meeting that someone, a person you feel you’ve known forever. That immediate immersion into warmth and familiarity. It’s almost as if you’ve reinvented yourself by just being who you are. No baggage from the past, no preconceptions or associations, just you. here, now. What a concept ! Well we do have that one surface commonality and that’s what brought us together. One of the positive aspects of cancer.

The concept of “ meaningful coincidences “  have always resonated with me and have  never gone unnoticed. Hell, i can’t imagine my life without them.
