The Reminder

Yesterday I had my weekly meeting with my Radiologist  Dr. Paul Nguyen. I told him for the first time, I was hit by a complete total energy drain and the headaches returned. Asked Paul once again about the chemo ( Lupron ) and my concerns about the side effects. Paul is doing a major study on Lupron and it’s “avalanche” of side effects. His answer was simple. “You have no choice, we’re trying to save your life.” Ouch ! Not a surprise, we knew the severity of my illness, it’s just you tend to forget it and move on especially when you don’t have any symptoms of cancer. So I said to Kristina, the hell with that !  Let’s go to Gloucester and get a lobster roll at “Lobsta Land.” One’s gotta do what ones gotta do…….
