Coming home.
It was great to be back home with Kristina and of course Lena ( our dog ).
It snowed the day I got back and was in the low 30′s, bit of a contrast I’d say.
Being back in the ‘Dacks , was like coming home to a lover whom you betrayed. I felt a bit guilty, and yet my past lover’s ( the Azores ) presence
lingers , wrapped in a sensuous memory.
Yeh… bla bla bla ; )
I now count the days to my continuing journey, Monday to get the results
of my lab work. Dr. Eliezer Van Allen, one cool dude who I believe will be my
first mate on the upcoming voyage. So exciting.. I can’t wait !
Back to the Adirondacks, I checked out the “ Recovery Trail “ I cleared on our land, and thought I’d post a few images of it. The different loops all told add up to about 1 ¾ miles of mixed terrain. A very good workout running it.
Kristina and I will be adding “ Nordic trail exercises “ , such as broad jumps over logs, log lifting etc. all incorporated into the “ Trail Run “
