It was 31 years ago...

After seeing these children at the hospital it brought me directly back to 31 years ago that my youngest daughter Willow Shoshona and I spent a week at my Dad’s children’s camp, Camp Eagle Cove on fourth lake in the Adirondack”s.

The last week in August he had donated the camp to “ Camp good days and special times “  https://www.campgooddays.org/

I believe it was the first year in operation. The children all had serious stages of cancer and many were terminally ill. It had made a giant impact on us both.

Shonie was maybe 8 and bonded with a little boy who had a stage 4 cancer.

I think now a bit differently of the old man.
