We  just met with Quincey Spagnoletti from Dana Farber special events, and we’re on the road to starting a fund raiser with their help. We’re calling it ADK Hike For Hope. Having all proceeds go to educating cancer patients on the importance of exercise, diet and acupuncture for fighting side effects as well as general well being. We’re at the beginning stages and so grateful for Dana Farber / Jimmy Fund for jumping in with all their resources !  This is important to me and it’s personal. Since I’ve made a fairly big lifestyle change I have very few side effects during what could have been a very difficult time. In September with my friend and neighbor Dave Tart, we’ll be hiking the 135 mile Northville Placid Trail and that will be the first ( I hope ) ADK Hike for Hope. Our website will be up soon and I’ll post the link here. Kristina’s company, Snyder New York will be contributing the art work and a limited poster for sale with  all proceeds going to the fund. So please keep checking back here for new info.
